I had a great track workout today which is always a good sign of things to come so I am optimistic I won't have a repeat of last years performance. My legs felt just fine after last weekends festivities and I was surprised given the amount of down hill pummelling my quads endured. Tomorrow is a nice recovery run with Susan in Forest Park, Friday is 30 minutes with some pick ups and then race day. I am really looking forward to the trip with the ultra family to sunny California!

Wee wee wee Miwok! When I went to Headlands 50K last year I said "look, it's a mini Miwok!" Try saying THAT three times fast. :)
Have fun, rooster!! Looks like you'll be well fueled and ready to go.
I can't say it 3 times fast...your right it's hard :).
I know I will have a blast and most definately will be well fueled....for some reason that never seems to be a problem :).
Have a great weekend.
I was scared when I spread my supply before ZG too:)
Run fast, and NEVER look back, Ronda!
Olga I read your post about "never look back" and I think that's some good advice and I am going to take it!
Hi Ronda!
Good luck at Miwok this weekend! I sat and watched Micheal pull all of his fuel and gear together last night so your pile looks very familiar! I hope the weather is perfect and that you, Stacey, Steve and Micheal all have a great day!
Safe Travels...
Lisa
Never hurts to have too much. I was one short at my last race :-)
Run hard and have fun!
Good luck at Miwok! I enjoy your blog and have been getting some good training tips. Thanks!
How did you figure out how many calories you needed to take in for MiWok? I really need help with my nutrition on long runs as I tend to get nauseous really easy and have a hard time eating solid food.
